Tremisana Game Lodge

Expect first-rate Big Five viewing at Tremisana Lodge, which stands in the heart of Balule Nature Reserve, within the vast African wilderness of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Guided game drives, tasty meals and modern air-conditioned chalets are all part of the safari experience offered at Tremisana, which also overlooks a waterhole where elephants regularly come to drink.

Marc's Treehouse Lodge

You can look forward to an immersive African bush experience at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge. This rustic small lodge will accommodate you in a stilted wood, canvas and thatch unit set in the riparian forest that fringes the Klaserie River as it runs through Motlala Game Reserve. Despite the bush feel, treehouses all have fans, nets and private bathrooms. There are also viewing decks from where birders can look out for forest specialists such as Narina trogon, purple-crested turaco and trumpeter hornbill. Motlala is home to three of the Big Five (rhino, buffalo and leopard) as well as giraffe, zebra, hyena and nyala antelope, and it forms a good base for day safaris into Kruger National Park.
