住宿Sabie River Bush Lodge
Nestled on the banks of the Sabie River, overlooking the Kruger National Park, guests can view the BIG 5 from the raised wooden pool deck whilst enjoying a sundowner and relaxing on the sun loungers.
Sabie River Bush Lodge is only 19km's from the Kruger Gate - the main entrance to the Kruger National Park. Located in the southern section of the park, the Kruger Gate affords guest access to some of the best game viewing in the Kruger National Park.
This part of the park is well known for its sightings of Lion and Leopard and Wild Dog.
The Gecko Lapa restaurant and bar serves guests with meals, light refreshments & has a well stocked bar and wine list.
We consider Sabie River Bush Lodge to have superior rooms and meals to many of the Camps inside Kruger Park so it is our first choice for alternative accommodation when Kruger Park is full. Guides can access the Park via Paul Kruger Gate or Phabeni Gate which provides a variety of game drives
Satara Rest Camp
Satara is a busy camp, and not without reason. It is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse.
The camp itself has a rustic charm, with the bulk of the accommodation set out in a series of circles. Satara is well wooded and the bird-life is prolific. At night the clink of fruit bats is fused with the chirping of cicadas and crickets. The calls of owls and nightjars add to the symphony that is punctuated intermittently by the whoop of hyena, the screech of jackal and the roars of lion.
